This is a really amazing place! It's over the top beautiful atmosphere makes you feel like your dinning with the wolf of Wall Street 😂 the service is top notch and super friendly! The food is super delicious!! I highly recommend trying the lobster bisque it comes with a puff pastry on top. I love that the pizza it is wood fire 🔥 I always recommend Calling and asking when they have entertainment, it is amazing when they do. This place is great for the hole family or a fancy date. Hell even if you just want to treat your self. I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area. It is little pricey but they make up for it in quality and service 💯
Nice winery, beautiful inside and out. We did not eat here but I sampled some wine and it was an enjoyable experience. Then we walked around outside to enjoy the scenery.
Was a great experience overall. I did have to send my food back because it was cold as soon as I got it and I do not like cold cooked asparagus whatsoever, not to mention cold chicken. Everything else was good the service was ok. Our food was dropped off by food runners and so after I got my plate which was cold immediately we didn't see our server for like another 8 minutes until she came to check out how things were. After nibbling on the wife's meal a little bit I ended up just going with an appetizer of bang bang shrimp which were delicious. The drinks were great and not overly priced. The Italian gin and tonic hit the spot. Actually had a second. An amazing place to look around though there is a lot to take in. Looks like they are ramping up for outside service in the fall and winter with all the new glass enclosed greenhouse type units they had for people to eat in so they're increasing their outside capacity during inclement weather. For about an hour after we got there they had great cover band live music from a guy playing outside. Then it was just back to the regular recorded broadcast after he was done and got his food and was up out of there. For some reason all of the service staff in this place did not look very happy. Beautiful outside area though with all the flowers I believe a lot of them are hollyhocks mixed in with some roses. They do actually let you have glass when you are done eating and just walking around which is cool They don't treat you like babies and give you little plastic cups! Manager was definitely on his toes, he was taking care of everything from the bonfire outside to making brick oven pizzas, with a limp. Not sure what was going on there if he should be working or not maybe have a scooter, but it did look like he was wearing some kind of brace. Hope he gets better.
They had a really nice holiday market today. You could get a glass of wine and shop for an assortment of local vendors. The best part was the Christmas tree made out of wine glasses filled with wine!!!
We met some family for lunch. First time back since it became Gideon Owen. The remodeling was great. Gave it a whole new atmosphere. And the patios made it bright and airy. Ordered typical lunch fare. The wine list was amazing. And it was nice they had draft beer from the local brewery up the road. Which is actually my personal Zen place. We ordered a burger and BLT sandwich. The burger was way undercooked from what we ordered. But had good flavor. The BLT wasn't quite as exciting but doable. Have had way better though in less attractive settings. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. So overall it was a nice visit.
Lovely meal here celebrating one person's birthday. One of us had the Moroccan Salmon and one the Lake Erie Walleye. Both were prepared well. Service was a leisurely pace and atmosphere with the fire pit is great.
We took our family to Gideon Owen Winery for a magical evening in a Glass House. Our service was top notch, the food was amazing and the atmosphere was simply perfect. What a wonderful way to celebrate the holiday season. We would highly recommend booking one of these private spaces for your next holiday gatherings.
Beautiful, upscale atmosphere, but not stuffy. Good crowd. Excellent service. The Walleye bites and Bang Bang shrimp were a couple favorites. If you are a fan of Seafood Bouillabaisse, I do NOT recommend this entree here at Gideon. If you have never tried Bouillabaisse, I would not try it here for the first time. We really enjoyed the Vidal Blanc and Riesling wines. They have outdoor seating, shade trees and live music. The pictures do not do this place justice.
